The famous National Museum The Strong, has updated its video game hall of fame with four new additions that will surely make more than one smile. Because yes, the video game has its own place in history, something that from The Strong they have wanted to record with a great research work that all museum visitors will be able to enjoy.

The idea behind this hall of fame is to collect all those titles and platforms that have defined an era and influenced our culture and society. Thanks to this recognition, such legendary games as DOOM , Sonic the Hedgehog , The Legend of Zelda , Super Mario Bros. , and Pac-Man, among others, have been granted this honor, although the list continues to grow year after year since its creation in 2015 with games that continue to meet the minimum requirements.
These admission requirements go through some very basic criteria:

- Longevity: It must last in memory past time.
- Geographical scope: The game must meet the above requirements internationally.
- Influence: These games have exerted a significant influence on the design and development of other games, on other forms of entertainment, or on popular culture and society in general.

The new members
This year, the new inductees into the video game hall of fame are as follows:
- Colossal Cave Adventure: This is one of the oldest games in the collection. It is a text-based adventure (it did not offer graphics) that was released in 1976 that required the player to enter commands in order to continue advancing.
- Microsoft Solitaire: One of the most original games to reach the Hall of Fame, since it is the mythical individual card game that arrived in 1990 together with Windows 3.0. Thanks to the incredible distribution of Microsoft, the game became a very popular entertainment worldwide.
