The proposed Worms rumble is in a way to take to a new level what always was worms. A turn-based war in which only one survivor could remain. In a certain way we could say that he laid the battle royale bases, so it is still poetic that in the middle of 2020 its new installment has this format.

The game will offer us a game with up to 32 simultaneous players in which each worm will have to use their gadgets to finish off the rest and win. The game will have several different maps, there will be an infinite number of different weapons, among which you will not miss the classic shotguns, rocket launchers, remote-controlled missiles and a large number of gadgets with which to surprise your opponent. And as an extra, players will be able to wear all kinds of outfits with which to gain that personalization touch that the public likes so much.

The game will be officially released next month of December, and will arrive on PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam, offering crossplay so that all players on all supported platforms can play against each other. Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X are left out of the call, so we'll see if the developers are encouraged to launch the corresponding versions for users of these platforms.

Luckily the game will have an open trial period where PS4 and PC players will be able to play the game in advance to see how it works and help find potential bugs for the final release. This trial period will be held on November 6th, although it is unknown until when it will be available.

A classic that is not forgotten

MS-DOS Worms

Worms became a classic thanks to its unmistakable worms. With some very nice and striking animations, the little guerrillas crawled around the map and demonstrated their jumping skills when it came to dodging obstacles, something that immediately fell in love with more than one user who defended each of their soldiers to the death.

Today it is possible play Worms from the browser in its original version, so you already have a distraction until you can get your hands on this Worms Rumble, which looks phenomenal.
