With the new month already started, Xbox Game Pass is preparing to reorganize its virtual shelves to place new games in the catalog. Now, with the new distribution of subscriptions, the new additions will depend on the type of monthly fee that users have, so if they have the standard one they will not be able to get access to all the games in their entirety. These are all the games that arrive (and leave) in October.
Game Pass Additions in October 2024
There are 5 new additions in the catalog in total, however, if you already had Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, there will actually only be 3. The reason is MLB The Show 24 and Open Roads, two games that were already present in the catalog and that on this occasion are included for players who have the Game Pass Standard version. Both are available from today, so they can be played immediately.
The other three new features are available to all users, whether they have Ultimate, PC Game Pass or Game Pass Standard. The first of these is the acclaimed Sifu, a third-person action game with Kung Fu combat mechanics that attracted a lot of attention in its day for its frenetic pace and aesthetics.
Another game included is Mad Streets, a very fun street fighting game where any element of the setting could surprise you. The characters have physics similar to rubber dolls, which makes the fights even crazier.
Inscryption is a card game with roguelike, escape-room and psychological horror elements. A surprising cocktail that makes it hard to understand why it is just a card game. Because that's what it is, right?
those who leave
The bad news comes with the farewell of 5 games from the catalog, highlighting Scorn, a game that became one of Microsoft's big announcements a few years ago and that despite good reviews and its excellent psychological horror did not end up being a hit with the public. After some time on Game Pass, it says goodbye.
The rest of the games that are leaving are Dyson Sphere Program, ever space 2, From space y F1 Manager 2023. Given what we've seen, it seems that more people are leaving than coming this month, although the long-awaited release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is getting closer and closer.
