Microsoft has been busy for a few days. The company not only showed the new Xbox Series S, it also confirmed the prices of the two new consoles that it will finally launch on November 10. And if all this were not enough, he announced important news related to Xbox Game Pass. The problem is that one of them won't be as popular with PC users.
Goodbye to the Xbox Game Pass Beta period for PC

Microsoft is finalizing details for the important launches ahead with its two next-generation consoles. And it is that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will arrive on November 10. Two proposals that share characteristics, although you will already know that the Series X will be the most powerful of all. Even so, among all the announcements, Xbox Game Pass stood out again.
Microsoft's gaming service is still considered by many to be one of the best things that ever happened. And the truth is that it is not for less. Because for a fixed amount per month you have unlimited access to more than 100 high-quality games. But that's not all, yesterday it was announced that the EA Play catalog would be integrated with Microsoft's.
This means that for the same price you will be able to access Microsoft titles and those offered by the popular developer, with well-known proposals such as FIFA, Battlefield, etc. So, imagine for a monthly fee the number of hours and hours of fun that a service like this Xbox Game Pass offers.
Of course, not everything was going to be perfect and there was also "bad" news. And we say bad in quotes because deep down it was known that sooner or later it would end up happening. As of next September 17, Xbox Game Pass for PC changes in price and it will cost twice as much.
We're retiring the introductory price on the 17th, but if you're already a member, you'll pay the same rate through the next billing cycle. look out for a notification on the 17th to get more details

That is to say, of the 3,99 euros that it currently costs, it rises to 9,99 euros. A price that already indicated that it was for a limited time while that beta period lasted. At the end, the price will also be worth the same as the console version of the service from that date. Even so, the price is still extremely interesting, although if until now you have paid only 3,99 euros, you may be interested in making the leap to the Unlimited version.
With Xbox Game Pass Unlimited (12,99 euros per month) You will not only have access to the catalog of games for console, but also for PC and the most interesting and striking: access to GOLD (which has a value of 6,99 euros per month) and xCloud.

Just in case it catches you by surprise, which we don't believe, xCloud is Microsoft's streaming game option. Through it and the devices supported by its official application you will be able to enjoy games just by having an internet connection. Something really interesting because from a phone or tablet you will have access to an impressive catalog of titles without having to invest in a new generation console or upgrade your PC's hardware to a more current and powerful one.
Therefore, although the price of Xbox Game Pass for PC increases, the service is still very worthwhile.
