Although it is not a highly recommended menu for most users, if you feel the need to know the ins and outs of your Smart TV and want to have absolute control of the screen, one of the things you could have in your hand is the access to service menu. On models with Sony Android TV (Google TV), it is possible to access two different service menus. The first of them is more concise, and basically summarizes the status of the TV with operating hours and a quick error check. For access the self-diagnosis menu on Sony, you have to do the following:

To access the service menu complete, you will have to press almost the same keys, but instead of Volume-, you will have to press Volume+. The keys you must press are the following:
- i+ key (to the left of 0)

- Volume + key

Activate professional mode (the most similar to Hotel Mode)
Another hidden menu that Sony TVs with Android TV hide is the one called professional mode. This is a mode that activates hidden system functions and allows you to adjust parameters that were not available in the original software. This new panel will appear in the System Settings section, and will allow you to configure things like starting the TV, restricting the remote control, applying shutdown times, and many more settings.
To access the professional menu on the Sony TV you must go to the main Home screen and press the following keys fairly quickly:

- Mute key
- Volume +
- Home
After pressing that key combination, within a few seconds, a waiting message will appear on the screen and the TV will restart. After the restart, the Android TV settings panel will show a new section where you can review all the options hidden in the hidden panel for professionals.
