It's the feeling of the moment: if you don't have an avatar on Facebook (Meta) you're totally out of the loop. Mark Zuckerberg's social network has launched this new function that allows you to create a animated type character with your features to use as a sticker in your conversations with your contacts. Its creation is quite easy but at first you may be a little lost and do not know exactly how to do it. Don't worry, that's what we're here for: sit back and aim.
Facebook Avatars, what are they?
If we look at the definition made by the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language about what an avatar is, it clearly states that it is the “graphical representation of the virtual identity of a user in digital environments. So, effectively, what we are going to do with the Facebook editor is precisely that: a duplicate of ourselves that will be in charge of showing itself to others. So we have to leave it nickel plated.
And if you move through other social networks or platforms, the idea may already be more than familiar to you. This type of format has been used by Apple, for example, through its Messages app and with Facetime for a long time (they are the famous Memojis) and they are nothing more than animated stickers that represent us. As? Well with traits we can choose to go customizing the appearance until it resembles us as much as possible – well, that is the intention, then each one can “design” himself as he sees fit.

Even though it seems quite a bit accessory, the truth is the Memojis had a lot of pull when they were presented and even launched apps that were in charge of making replicas to be used on Android. Now it is Facebook that follows in the wake of stickers in the image and likeness of its users, offering so-called avatars, like the one you can see just above these lines.
With them you can have your own package of personalized stickers, an animated collection of reactions in which the protagonist is you: love, sadness, joy, laughter, tears, anger... all with your newly designed face through the social network.
And creating it is as easy as following the steps that we detail below.

- If that is not the case, don't worry: just enter a post to comment and instead tap the smiley face icon in the bottom right corner. You will enter an options panel (it is where all the stickers are saved). Tap on the second icon, pink-purple, and you will see that a blue “Create your avatar” button appears. Tap on it to access the platform.
