It is undoubtedly the most comfortable and simple way to do it since you only have to enter it, enter your data and wait for the collage be mounted. For this we will use the free solution Creatorkit – Top Nine (it's the old Topnine.co, which is now part of a content creation platform), perfect for making this type of annual summaries.
These are the steps to follow to get your own Top Nine on the platform:
- Enter from your browser (PC or mobile) in the link you have just here
- Type your Instagram nickname or username
- Since the process can take several minutes, the web invites you to leave your email to be notified when the summary is ready. If desired, enter your email and tap/tap on “Get Top Nine”. If you don't want to, tap on the button anyway and this step will be skipped.

This app is only available for iPhone and offers you many possibilities beyond the top 9 of the year. You can choose previous years, set a custom range, and even have it throw you your 9 most popular photos of all time (since you started an Instagram account and uploaded your first image, wow). These last two options, yes, are paid. The only problem What we see is that it forces you to log in to your account (password included) to proceed with the summary and we are not very in favor of giving this sensitive data to this type of app. Still, the last word is yours.
- Best Grid
Like Top Nine, with Best Grid you will have your top nine at hand just by entering your username and you have it completely free. When you proceed to obtain the summary you will find the option with or without a watermark, on the condition that to remove it only you have to see an ad. There are also several different filters and frames available, if you want to get creative with your collage - although of course they are paid.
